A unique program named Big Boss was designed under which the club was divided into 7 teams comprising of all the members and their families. The event was carried on from 16th December to 22 December, during which various activities were given to the teams. The teams had to complete the activities and send a video recording to the coordinators(Big Boss) in a stipulated time.
Few of the activities conducted were:
- ‘Jal hi Jeevan hai – where members from the group had to go to any school or any public place and explain the students/people around, the importance of water.
- Watering Trees – Just planting trees is not sufficient, we need to take care of them and water them too. Members had to choose Public areas and water the plants in that area.
- Distribution of woolens – Team members distributed blankets and warm clothes to people in need of them.
- Traffic Awareness: Members were asked to create awareness for the importance of helmet and seat belt on important crossroads.
- Cleanliness Drive: Indore is India’s cleanest city, yet we need to keep reminding people to continue with this drive and members did they best to add on to this drive.
- Go Green: All of us are aware of plastic hazards, yet use plastic bags. Members were asked to use create public awareness to Stop using plastic bags and start using cloth/ recyclable bags.
- Old Age Home Visit: Members were asked to visit old age homes and spend sometime with the senior citizens there.
Many more activities including few fun activities were carried by members and videos were sent to the coordinators, who will very soon announce the prizes for the best teams.
