Rotary Club of Indore Professionals
Rotary Club of Indore Professionals, Charter No. 66657 is a registered club under Rotary International under its District 3040. The club was chartered on 13th October 2004 and Rtn. Rakesh Bamoria lead the club as the Charter President of the club.
The name Rotary Club of Indore Professionals truly represents the character and composition of its members with due representation in Indore (M.P.), India. Under the able presidential leadership of Rtn. Rakesh Bamoria, Rtn. Nitin Dafria, Rtn. Dr. Prafulla Dube, Rtn. Anoop Golchha, Mr. Jitendra Daga, Rtn. Gajendra Narang, Rtn. Rajkumar Agarwal, Mr. P.K Gupta, Rtn. Bhuvnesh Gupta, Rtn. Nikhil Agarwal, Rtn. Nilesh Gour, Rtn. Vikas Arora, Rtn. Akshat Gupta, Rtn. Akhilesh Maheshwari, Rtn. Sharad Naik, Rtn. Ashish (Tony) Shukla, Rtn. Gaurav Pareek the Club has carried out many projects in the social and environmental sector and grown to new heights with each passing year. The special guidance of PP Rtn. Ravi Nandi and Senior Rotarian Rtn. V.C Agarwal also has always guided the right direction for the club.
The Club is in its Eighteenth year of operation and has since its inception focused on the the mission of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
The professional attitude is depicted in all the responsibilities taken by the Club and its leaders each year. The club is also proud that it has been contributing to the District 3040 in all possible ways and is happy to be able to provide the District with many able and capable leaders. Most Importantly the club is Proud to be able to give the district a District Governor PDG Rtn. Nitin Dafria who is a charter member of the club and has contributed to Rotary International in all possible modes and touched new heights during his year as a District Governor.
Rotary`s Areas of Focus
Promoting Peace
Rotary encourages conversations to foster understanding within and across cultures. We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas.
Fighting Disease
We educate and equip communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria. We improve and expand access to low-cost and free health care in developing areas.
Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
We support local solutions to bring clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to more people every day. We don’t just build wells and walk away. We share our expertise with community leaders and educators to make sure our projects succeed long-term.
Saving mothers and children
Nearly 6 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. We expand access to quality care, so mothers and their children can live and grow stronger.
Supporting education
More than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate. Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.
Growing local ecomonies
We carry out service projects that enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old. We also strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders, particularly women, in impoverished communities.
