On 20th August 2022, The auspicious beginning of “Ganesh Utsav” with heavy rainfall and a beautiful start of the session by Literacy Army to around 100 students of class 9th to 12th of Rajat Jayanti Govt. School.

Ann. Priti Gour beautifully taught the making of Ganesh Idol from eco-friendly material and students practised by making the same. Ann. Anuja Singhai presented various decoration ideas for Jhanki and taught students various styles of making paper flowers and leaves. All students learned Ganesh aarti and did it all together. Rtn Priya Tanted, Director of Basic Education and Literacy helped in coordination with children in the making process. Students were enthusiastic about learning all the things and many even showed their interest by asking as to when we will come back for another such innovative class. The staff of the school was very supportive and cooperative.
